— 逃してしまった、展示会。3連休に行こうと意気込んでいたにも関わらず、またやってしまった。そんなゆる〜い連休をこちらでは過ごしましたが、皆様はいかがでしたか? 最終日の今日は夕方ふらりと散歩に出掛けたら、近所のお祭りの御神輿に遭遇。秋祭りだなんて、風情があるじゃあないですか . . . 。朝晩冷えて、本格的な秋を迎えている9月後半。少し遅くなってしまったけれど、秋の夜長に向けたリンクをお届けします。

— this weekend was a long one here in tokyo, and there were spontaneous strolls and late night ice creams, family gatherings and a long overdue blog post, stops at bookshops and new magazines strewn across the floor, and although there were not nearly enough moments spent under the crisp autumn skies (not to mention the fact that all the laid-backness caused missing an exhibition had wanted to catch), the relaxed staying-in days were quite perfect too . . .

- why don't we . . . traipse about online? {今週のリンク‧コレクション} -

— 気が付いたら9月も半分が過ぎてしまった。1年の終わりに近付くほど、時間が過ぎ去るスピードがエスカレートするのはなぜなのだろう。ぼーっとしているわたしの感覚の問題??? 12月になって「あぁ〜、今年もまたあまり物事を成し遂げられなかったぁーん」と嘆くことにならぬよう、気を引き締めなければ —。
それにしても街の秋冬ディスプレイが魅力的過ぎる . . . バッグ、シューズ、ジャケットにコート、セーターも素敵だなぁ、とか考えながら眺めていると本当に物欲がとまりませーんっ!!! レシピに集中、レシピに集中、と自分に呪文を唱える日々が続いています。早くオーブンを使うのが苦にならない気候になってほしい、でも本格的に秋を感じるのは寂しい . . . 複雑な心境です。

— already half the month of september has whirled by, and cannot believe it is almost officially official autumn, when the mornings and nights actually become cooler, and there are days that long sleeved shirts can be worn (perhaps even paired with a tailored jacket), and it is no longer such a dreaded chore to use the oven, and cravings for apple pies and cozy baked goods come back. Still very very sad to accept that summer is fading away, but fashion week has been letting us daydream just a little longer of pastels and florals, and after all is over am thinking will finally be ready to sit back and enjoy the change of season . . . happy september, and hope your weekend is bright & beautiful xo
